In A Buffalo State of Mind
Buffalo TV - my Toronto-era window onto the U.S.
The open to WKBW-TV Channel 7 Buffalo's "Eyewitness News" with Irv Weinstein still resounds with me (and probably with all TV-watching Torontonians of a certain age). Dig this clip from the mid-1980s, to get a feeling of the style and content of a typical "Eyewitness News" broadcast. That theme music still rocks!
